
From insightful workshops to creative displays of identity, students took the lead during Sanctuary Week to demonstrate our commitment to an inclusive school, where everyone belongs. Denis Whelan from Wexford Local Development delivered engaging talks to 2nd and 5th Years on misinformation, encouraging critical thinking and fact-checking. On Wednesday, students and staff wore red to “show racism the red card,” alongside a very successful LCA bake sale enjoyed by 1st Years.Thursday focused on neurodiversity, celebrating the uniqueness of every student. 1st Years also watched He Named Me Malala, promoting empathy and awareness of global inequalities.The week concluded with a display of student self-portraits, reflecting identity and diversity; our message of respect, belonging, and inclusion for all.
