Student Spotlight: Congratulations to Alanna Redmond!

St. Mary’s is incredibly proud of our 6th Year student, Alanna Redmond, who was recently recognised with a Youth Award in appreciation of her fantastic voluntary work with Rainbow Youth Club, New Ross.

Alanna volunteers with the club, which provides a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment for children aged 2–14. The club caters for children with additional needs and disabilities, as well as those who simply want to come along, play, make friends and meet other children their own age.

Her dedication, kindness and commitment to creating a space where every child feels welcome and included are truly commendable.

At the Awards Night, held at White’s Hotel, on behalf of the County Wexford Volunteer Awards, Alanna  received a beautiful certificate, a trophy and a voucher in recognition of her contribution.

We are so proud of Alanna and the positive difference she is making in her community. A wonderful achievement and very well deserved!
