On Friday, September 25th, we were delighted to bring 50 of our music students to the New Ross Piano Festival for a very special musical experience. Our students had the wonderful opportunity to hear pianist Dida Condria speak about her work and musical journey before experiencing an outstanding 45-minute live performance. Dida performed a beautiful and varied programme featuring works by Sibelius, Rameau, Silvestrov, Bach/Kempff, Schubert/Liszt and Rachmaninov.
It was an amazing opportunity for our students to experience live piano performance of such a high standard and to hear repertoire that connects directly with the music they study in the classroom. A huge thank you to Dida Condria and the New Ross Piano Festival for providing our students with such an inspiring and memorable experience.
