Additional Educational Support

Here at St Mary’s Secondary School, we are committed to developing each student’s potential in a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment. We welcome all students, including those with additional needs so that the population of the school community reflects the population of the local community.

We have a dedicated team of SNAs, Learning Support teachers, and subject teachers to help students with additional needs achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

There are many different types of support available from short-term targeted inventions to more long-term inclusive support. We strive to ensure a warm, caring, learning environment where every student is valued and every student participates in every aspect of school life.
