TY Poetry Workshop

All TY students enjoyed a wonderful Haiku Poetry Workshop on Monday with poet Maeve O’Sullivan . The theme of the workshop was nature, with students learning about the traditional structure of Haiku poetry before creating their own poems. Have a look at some examples of the students’ fantastic work! Students are also encouraged to enter their own Haikus into a Haiku Poetry Competition , with the closing date 16th October. There are some wonderful prizes to be won.
